Getting started

Import broker history

Use broker exports to build holdings, cash flow, dividends, fees, and historical performance faster.

1

When import is the best start

Use import when you already have real broker history. It saves time and gives AKSJENET better context for holdings, cash flow, dividends, fees, realized gains, and performance.

2

Prepare the file

Export transactions from your broker, keep the original file unchanged, and make sure dates, tickers, quantities, prices, currency, fees, dividends, and cash movements are included when available.

3

Review unresolved rows

After import, review rows that need attention. The most common fixes are missing ticker mapping, unclear cash movement type, duplicate rows, and account type assignment.

4

Check the result

Open the portfolio overview and accounting views. Total holdings, cash balance, and recent transactions should look close to your broker account before you rely on analysis or tax views.

Next step

Use this guide inside AKSJENET

Open the relevant portfolio area, make one focused change, then return to this guide if anything looks unclear.
